Temporary Closing of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure: Friday 4^th and Saturday 5^thJuly 2025

Times: 6pm to 12am

To Facilitate: Muckno Mania Festival

Roads Closed:  R-181-3 (West Street) from its junction with the R-938 (York Street) to its junction with the L-75065 (Henry/Church Street).

Diversion Routes: R-938 York Street to R-181-3 Muckno Street:-

Traffic will be diverted right off the R938-0 (York Street), left onto the LT75066 (Thomas Street), left onto the LT75065 (Henry Street) and then right onto the R181-3 (Muckno Street).

R-181-3 Muckno Street to R-938 York Street:-

Traffic will be diverted left off the R181-3 (Muckno Street) onto the LT 75065, (Henry/Church Street), then left onto the R938-0, (York Street).

R183-3 (Main Street) to R181-3  (Muckno Street):-

Traffic will be diverted right onto R183-15 (Monaghan Road), right onto L-75064 (McGrath Road), right onto R181-3 (Muckno Street).

R181-3 (Muckno Street) to R181-3 (Main Street):-

Traffic will be diverted onto the L-75064 (McGrath Road), left onto R183-15 (Monaghan Road), left onto R181-3 (Main Street).

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
