Temporary Closing of Roads – For any period of 2 weeks between Monday 21st July – 31st August 2025

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross/Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:           For any period of 2 weeks between Monday 21^st July – 31^st August 2025

Times:                               8am -7pm

To Facilitate:                  Road resurfacing

Road Closed: LT-40401 Greaghnaroog to Drumgowna

Diversion Routes:   Traffic wishing to proceed North bound on the LT-40401 will be diverted North West bound via the LP4002, then North bound via LT40031, then South Eastbound on the LT40402.

Traffic wishing to proceed South bound on the LT-40401 will be diverted South East bound via the LT40403 & LT40013, then South Bound via LT40011, then South East bound via the LP4002.

Road will be open to Local Access Only.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
