Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date: Between Monday 8th September 2025 and Friday 31st October 2025
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Road Closed:
LS5610 at Urbalkirk for a distance of 750m between its junction with the R162 and the LS5610-1 at McDonnell Commercials.
Diversion Routes:
Northbound & Southbound traffic will be diverted along the R162 and then directed to turn Right onto the LS56102 Tullyshelferty road as far as the LS56102 Tetoppa road.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
