Monaghan County Council gives notice of the following road closure in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: Monday 10th November 2025 to Friday 28th November 2025
Times: 24hr Closure – No Through road at the location of the bridge works
To Facilitate: Bridge Replacement Works
Road Closed: R-190 from the junction of R190/R193 in the townlands of Corfad to the junction of R190/R192 in the townlands of Drumgreen.
Diversion Routes: Westbound traffic on the R190 wishing to travel to Cootehill from Ballybay will be diverted by taking a right turn onto R193 and travelling to Rockcorry village before taking a left turn onto R188 and heading Southwest along this route into Cootehill.
Eastbound Traffic wishing to travel to Ballybay from Cootehill will be diverted at R190/R192 Junction and directed northwest into Cootehill town before turning right onto R188 and travelling north east into Rockcorry village via R188, taking right turn onto R193 and travelling South East direction before taking left turn onto R190 to travel to Ballybay.
This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
