Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date: Friday 12th December 2025 until Saturday 13th December 2025
Times: between the hours of 9pm on Friday 12th and 6am on Saturday 13th December 2025.
To Facilitate: Construction works at Horseshoe Bridge
Roads Closed: L-5513-0 (Park Road) from its junction with the L-5516-0 Oriel Way
to the Greenway entrance at Horseshoe Bridge in the Townlands of Mullaghmatt & Mullaghcroghery Monaghan
Alternative Routes.
West bound traffic will be diverted west along the N54 (Clones Road) and turn south onto L5516-0 (Oriel Way) .
East bound will be diverted north onto L5516-0 (Oriel Way) and then east along the N54 .
Local diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
