Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: 8th March 2026
Times: 12pm to 4pm
To Facilitate: St Patrick’s Day Parade
Roads Closed:
The L-4621/L-4622 from its junction with the L-8620/L-8621 (Kednaminsha Cross) in the Townlands of Kednaminsha, Mucker, Muff, Edenamo, Candlefort and Inishkeen Glebe.
The L-4623 from its junction with the L-4630 to its junction with the L-46321 in the Townlands Candlefort, Inishkeen Glebe and Lacklom
Diversion Routes:
Local Diversions will be in place. All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
