Monaghan County Council will close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Dates: -Monday the 18th of May 2026 at 08:00hrs until Monday the 5th of October 2026 at 16:00hrs
To Facilitate: To Construct an Underpass under the R179 Knocknacran West Road
Road Closed: R-179-1 Carrickmacross – Kingscourt Rd from a point 400m south of the Magheracloone village junction (L-4900), to a point 350m North of the Enagh Rd junction (L-4816).
Alternative Routes.
Local Diversion will be in place
