Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date: Wednesday 15th April 2026 until Friday 17th April 2026
Times: Between the hours of 7am and 7.30pm.
To Facilitate: Construction works at Ballyalbany Bridge
Roads Closed: L-5181 Coolshannagh Rd between the junction of L 51824 Coolshannagh Walk and L 16301 Mullaghmore East.
Alternative Routes.
South bound traffic will be diverted along the L16302, N2, N54 (Derry Road) and L51818 Coolshannagh Rd .
North bound will be diverted north onto N54, N2 and left onto the L16302.
Local diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
