Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

 

Date:                     Monday 20^th June 2022 to Friday 8^th July 2022

To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:    LS8910, LS8911 and LS8912 in the Townlands of Cornalaragh, Greaghawilin, Alts, Corlea, Carrickmaclim and Rakeeragh

 

 Alternative Routes.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LS-8910, LS-8911 and LS-8912 from the R178-3 Carrickmacross-Shercock Road will be diverted onto the LP-4920, then right onto the LS-8901, then turn right onto the LP-4904, then turn right onto the LT-49041.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LS-8912, LS-8911 and LS-8912 from the LS-8913 will be diverted onto the LT-49041, then turn left onto the LP-4904, then turn left onto the LS-8903, then turn left onto the LP-4920.

 All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 7^th June 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection to Road Closure”.
