Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

 

Date:     Monday 4^th July 2022 to Friday 15^th July 2022

To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:   LP4814 in the Townlands of Rahans and Descart

 

Alternative Routes.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4814 from the LP-4813 will be diverted right onto the LT-88313, then turn right onto the LS-8831, then turn left onto the LT-48161, then turn left onto the LP-4815

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4814 from the LP-4815 will be diverted right onto the LT-48161, then turn right onto the LS-8831, then turn left onto the LT-88313

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the A/Head of Roads, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 7^th June 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
