Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Closed: LP4921 and LP4922 in the Townlands of Mullaghmacateer and Clonturk

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

 

Date:                   Monday 25^th July 2022 to Friday 5^th August 2022

To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:   LP4921 and LP4922 in the Townlands of Mullaghmacateer and Clonturk

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4921 from Carrickmacross will be diverted onto the R927, then straight onto the N2 heading South

 

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4922 from the N2 will continue along the N2 and will be diverted onto the R-927

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 5^th July 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
