Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads closed: LS-5171:  For a distance of 2506m between junction with the R-186 (Aghaclogha) and junction LP-1154 (Tonycoogan crossroads).

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan.

Date of Closure: Between Monday 8th August 2022 and Friday 7th October 2022

(The Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the closure period)

 To facilitate: Road Improvement Works

Roads closed:

LS-5171:  For a distance of 2506m between junction with the R-186 (Aghaclogha) and junction LP-1154 (Tonycoogan crossroads).

 

                      Diversion Routes:

Northbound and Southbound traffic at the Townland of Aghaclogha to be diverted via R-186.

Northbound and Southbound traffic at the Townland of Tonycoogan to be diverted via LP-1153 & LP-1154.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times). The Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 26th July 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection to Road Closure”.
