Temporary Closing of Roads – Emergency Closure

Monaghan County Council hereby gives notice of Emergency Closure in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 &
Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994 that it will close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay Clones in
County Monaghan:

Date & Time: From Thursday, 27th October 2022 to Friday, 24th February 2023 (24hrs per day)

To Facilitate: Replacement of damaged road bridge and the legislative requirements associated with carrying out said works.

Roads Closed: LS-6141-0 in the Townland of Roosky and Killyfuddy

Alternative Routes:
Traffic wishing to travel on the L-6141 from the L-6140 in the direction of the townlands of Drumcaw/Boughill will be diverted
by remaining on the L-6140, then turning left onto the L-2152. Traffic wishing to travel on the L-6141-0 from the L-2152 in the
direction of the townland of Aghnaskeas will be diverted by remaining on the L-2152, then turning right onto the L-6140.
All Detours will be signposted to direct the Traffic. There will be no through road at the bridge location
