Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Date:- Monday the 7th of November 2022 until
Friday the 4th of December 2022
To Facilitate: Road Resurfacing
Roads Closed: LS-8903 in the Townlands of Doagh, Cornalaragh and Aghinillard
Alternative Routes.
Traffic wishing to proceed on the LS-8903 from the LS-8902 will be diverted Right onto the LT-89112, then left onto the LS8911,
then Left onto the LP-4904. Traffic wishing to proceed on the LS-8903 from the LP-4903 will be diverted onto the LP-4904, then Right onto the LS-8911, then turn Right onto the LT-89112 and then Right onto the LS-8820.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Wednesday 2nd of November 2022. Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
