Night Time Temporary Closing of Roads – Road Closed: N2 Castleblayney Bypass – from the townland of Moy Otra (Clontibret N2 Junction) to the townland of Tullyvin (Castleblayney-N53 Roundabout). Closure will be implemented on one direction only at any point in time.

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal Districts of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney, Ballybay- Clones and Monaghan in County Monaghan.

 

Dates of Closure:            Monday 20^th March 2023 – Friday 31^st March 2023

                                         Monday 8^th May 2023 – Friday 19^th May 2023

                                         Monday 10^th July 2023 – Friday 21^st July 2023

                                         Monday 4^th September 2023 – Friday 15^th September 2023

 

 

Road Closed:                    N2 Castleblayney Bypass – from the townland of Moy Otra (Clontibret N2 Junction) to the townland of Tullyvin (Castleblayney-N53 Roundabout). Closure will be implemented on one direction only at any point in time.

 

Times:                                 Northbound 9pm – 6am

                                            Southbound 9pm – 6am

 

To Facilitate: Essential maintenance/renewal/safety measure works.

Diversion Routes: Main Diversion via Old N2 (LP3444) at Clontibret Village through Annayalla Village and Castleblayney Town, then accessing the N2 via the

N53 and vice versa.

 

Diversions will be in place for the duration of the closure. Local and emergency services access will be catered for at all times.

Every effort will be made to minimise delays.
