Temporary Closing of Roads – Ballybay/Clones – To Facilitate: St. Patrick’s Day Festival

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:            Thursday 16th March 2023

Times:                                  6:00pm and 9pm

To Facilitate:                     St. Patrick’s Day Festival

 

Roads Closed:

  • McCurtain Street (R212) between N54 and Ball Alley Street
  • Analore Street between McCurtain Street (R212) and Abbey Street
  • Fermanagh Street between N54 and Jubilee Road (R183)
  • Cara Street (N54) between Ball Alley Street and the Diamond
  • Monaghan Street (N54) between O’Duffy Street (R183) and the Diamond
  • Church Hill between Lacky Road junction at Lisseggerton and traffic lights (R183)

 

Diversion Routes:

Local diversions in place

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 7th March 2023.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
