Temporary Closing of Roads – L-1412-0 Canal Street

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:              Friday 30^th June 2023 to Thursday 13^th July 2023

Times:                                  7:00am – 19:00pm (Monday-Friday Only)

To Facilitate:                     Essential watermain replacement scheme

Road Closed:                     L-1412-0 Canal Street

 

Diversion Routes:

Phase 1 (Canal Street Closure) – Traffic wishing to proceed on the L-1412-0 will be diverted onto the N-54-10, then left onto the L-1412-1, then right back on to the L-1412-0

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 20^th June 2023.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
