Temporary Closing of Roads – Road Closed: LP1610

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure: Between 30^th October 2023 and 30^th November 2023

(Each Road may be closed for a maximum of 1 week within the Closure Period)

 Times: 9:00am – 18:00pm (Monday-Friday Only.)

To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works

 Road Closed: LP1610

Diversion Routes:

 Northbound traffic travelling on the R186 wishing to proceed towards Ballinode will be diverted straight ahead towards Tydavnet on the R186, then left onto the LP1020 in Tydavnet, then straight ahead onto the LP2000 towards Scotstown, then left onto the LP2010 towards Ballinode

Eastbound traffic wishing to travel towards Monaghan Town from Ballinode will be diverted east onto the LP2010 towards Scotstown then right onto the LP2000 towards Tydavnet, then straight ahead onto the LP1020, then right onto the R186 towards Monaghan

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 24^th October 2023.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
