Temporary Closing of Roads – LP-2000

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:              Monday 4^th March 2024 – Friday 30^th August 2024

Times:                                8am -7pm

To Facilitate:                     Drainage Works and Road resurfacing

Road Closed:                    LP-2000 (“Roads will be closed for a three week period during this advertised closure period to all of the ads.”)

 

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed South bound on the LP-2000 will be diverted via the

LP-1012 to Ballinode and then via the LP-2010 to Scotstown Village.

 

Traffic wishing to proceed Northbound on the LP-2000 will be diverted via the

LP-2010 to Ballinode and then via the LP-1012  to the LP-2000.

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 20^th February.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
