Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Road Traffic Act 2004 Section 10 (1) of the Council’s intention to put in place the Special Speed Limits for Road Works on the road listed below, located within the Monaghan Municipal District. The speed limit is being put in place in the interest of road safety to facilitate Road works.
| 60km/h speed limit signs will be in place at the following location in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross Castleblayney, Clones Ballybay, and Monaghan | Townlands intersected by the proposed works | Start Date | End Date |
| N2 Castleblayney Bypass – from the townland of Kilcrow, N2 Clontibret Roundabout to the townland of Lislanly, N2 Lislanly roundabout | Lislanly, Moneyvolan, Lackagh, Cloghan, Lismagunshin, Annagh, Carrickanure, Cashel, Avalreagh and Kilcrow
