Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan.
Dates of Closure: Thursday 21st November 2024
Road Closed: N2 Clontibret Bypass – from the townland of Moy Otra (Clontibret N2 Junction) to the Clontibret Roundabout in the townland of Kilcrow Closure will be implemented in both directions.
Times: 9pm – 6am
To Facilitate: Essential maintenance works.
Diversion Routes: Main Diversion via Old N2 (LP3445) Tullybuck through Clontibret Village to the junction with the R184 (Aghnameal) then accessing the N2 at the
N2 Clontibret roundabout. Northbound Diversion – Above route in reverse.
Diversions will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Local and emergency services access will be catered for at all times
Every effort will be made to minimise delays.
Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the A/Senior Engineer, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 12th November. Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
