Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay and Clones in County Monaghan:
Date: Between Thursday 8th May 2025 and Friday 13th June 2025
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Road Closed:
LT22414 Connons for a distance of 1690m between its junction with the N54 at Corragarry and the Northern Ireland Border at Clonrye.
Diversion Routes:
Northbound traffic travelling from Cavan will be diverted off the A3 onto the Drumgramph Road, then after approximately 2.2km traffic will turn left onto the LT22414 Connons Road.
Southbound traffic travelling from Clones will be diverted Left onto the LT22431 Clonnagore road. Traffic will travel approximately 2km where they will be directed to turn right onto the Ballyhoe Road. After 1.5km, traffic will be diverted right and travel a further 1km where they will be directed to turn right onto the LT22414 Connons Road.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
