Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: Monday 21st July to the 25th July 2025
Times: Monday at 08:00 Until Friday at 18:00
To Facilitate: ALDI — Sewer connection to the Castle Road Sewer Chamber
Road Closed: Section of the L-1412-1 Castle Road at the junction on the N54-10 to the L-1412-0 Junction on the Mall Road
Diversion Routes: East bound on Broad Road via Old Cross Square turning right onto the R937. Turning right onto Canal Street, through Mall Road exiting onto the R162 Glen Road.
GO 24 Express Services Station exit will remain open with exiting traffic turning right onto the Mall road, then onto the R162 Glen Road.
This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
