Monaghan County Council gives notice to extend the following road closure in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:
Date: From 9th September 2025 to 19th September 2025
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 1 weeks within the Closure Period
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Road Closed: R184 Ballybay to Tullycorbet road for a distance of 750m in the townland of Legacurry.
Diversion Routes:
Southbound Traffic will be diverted along the R184 as far as Scotch Corner, then Left onto the LP3300 as far as the R162 Ballybay Monaghan road where traffic will be directed to turn Left for Ballybay.
Northbound traffic will be diverted along the R162 as far as the LP1500 Ardaghy road where traffic should turn right and drive as far as Scotch Corner were traffic will be directed to turn right onto the R184 Ballybay Road.
