The following amendments to the schedule have been formally adopted at the meeting of Monaghan County Council on the 1st September 2025. This amendment will take effect from Monday the 29th September 2025.
Third Schedule
Roads in respect of which a special speed limit of 80 km/h is prescribed.
- The following roads between the Town of Castleblayney and the village of Annyalla.
- The LP3440 (Old Monaghan – Castleblayney Road) from a point 72m north-west of its junction with the R183-14 (Ballybay Road) to a point on the LP3441 located 155 metres south-east of the LP3441 junction with the LP3500 (Keady Road).
- The following roads between the village of Annyalla and the village of Clontibret.
- The LP3442 (Old Monaghan – Castleblayney Road) from a point 297m north-west of its junction with the LP3400 (Cremartin Road), inclusive of the LP3443, to a point on the LP3444 road located 166m south-east of the LP3444 junction with the R184-1 (Clontibret to Ballybay road).
