Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Date: Sunday 7th December 2025 at 09:00 till 21:00
To Facilitate: Castleblayney Christmas Market
Roads Closed:
Hope Castle Avenue and Car Park, The Annex Car Park & Library/Playground Car Park from the Lough Muckno Leisure Park entrance.
Alternative carparking will be available, in close proximity to the Muckno Leisure Park, at the following locations:
- Lower Commons/York Street Car Park
- Upper Commons/Thomas Street Car Park
- McGrath Road Car Parks
- Old Town Council/Thomas Street Car Park
