Dublin Street North Regeneration – Public Consultation on Emerging Preferred Proposals 

Monaghan County Council recently made Variation No. 3 of the Monaghan County Development Plan 2019-2025.

The variation includes a new objective within the Settlement Plan for Monaghan Town, which seeks to

‘Ensure that all development proposals within the Dublin Street North Regeneration Plan area have regard to the regeneration strategy and development objectives of the Dublin Street North Regeneration Plan.’ (Objective MPO 15)

As a result of Variation No. 3 Monaghan County Council are embarking on an exciting new project called the “Dublin Street North Regeneration Project” to restore vibrancy to that area of Monaghan town. We have recently appointed a Design Team to develop the scheme and they have developed an emerging preferred proposal to take to a Public Consultation.
