Heritage Plan 2012-2017
The County Monaghan Heritage Plan, which contains an action plan up to 2017, was launched on 24th April 2012 in the Market House, Monaghan.

County Monaghan Heritage Plan 2006-2010
This plan was developed using best practice methods for public participation as a pilot for the development of the Monaghan Model: A guide to Best Practice in Community Consultation. A copy of this can be obtained from the Monaghan Community Forum.
The aim of the Heritage Plan is:
To protect and enhance the built, natural, cultural and community heritage of County Monaghan and to increase awareness, understanding, responsibility and enjoyment of it by all.
