Monaghan County Council will close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross/Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Dates and Times: Between Thursday 4th June 2026 and Friday 25th September 2026.
The Roads may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period.
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Roads Closed:
LS8500 for a distance of 1574m beginning in the townland of Lisnamoyle Etra, to the townland of Cargaghlisnanarney in Co.Monaghan
LS8921 for a distance of 2330m beginning in the townland of Ballaghnagearn, to the townland of Lisnakeeny in Co. Monaghan
LT41042 for a distance of 1249m beginning in the townland of Tusker, to the townland of Monyglen in Co. Monaghan
Diversion Route:
Local traffic will be diverted via adjoining local roads. All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
