Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: Between Monday 27th July 2026 and Friday 18th September 2026.
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 5 weeks within the Closure Period.
To Facilitate: Road Improvement and Traffic Calming Works
Road Closed: LT 20001 Clontoe Road from Scotstown Village to Ballinode Village for a distance of 2,750m.
Diversion Routes:
Local traffic will be diverted via adjoining local roads. All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
