Temporary Closing of Roads – L-4101 closed for a distance of 700m northwest of junction with the L-8150

Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Road Closed:  L-4101 closed for a distance of 700m northwest of junction with the L-8150

Dates:   Monday the 24^th of August 2026 at 08:00hrs until Friday the 18^th of September 2026 at 16:00hrs

The road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period.

To construct:  an underpass at the L-4101 Cornasleeve road

Diversion Route

Traffic traveling from R180 toward Lisdoonan village along the L-4100 will be diverted right of the L-8150 (for a distance of approx. 0.5km) turn left onto the L-8151 (for a distance of approx. 2km), turn left onto the L-8160 (for a distance of approx. 2.9km), turn right onto the L-4102, diversion end.

Traffic traveling from Lisdoonan village toward R180 along the L-4102 will be diverted left onto the L-8160 (for a distance of approx. 2.9km), turn right onto the L-8151 (for a distance of approx. 2km), turn right onto the L-8150 (for a distance of approx. 0.5km), turn left onto L-4100, diversion end.
