Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Dates : Between Monday 31st August 2026 and Friday 25th September 2026.
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 4 weeks within the Closure Period.
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Roads Closed: LP8621 & LP8622 from the border of Louth on the LP8622 to McArdle Skeath transportation.
Diversion Route:
Local traffic will be diverted via adjoining local roads. All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
