Temporary Closing Of Roads

 

Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

 

Date of Closure:               Sunday 26^th April 2026

 

Times:                                  13:45PM to 15:00PM

 

To Facilitate:                     Public Event in Scotstown Village

 

Road Closed:                     LP-2000

 

Diversion Routes:

South -West bound traffic approaching from Tydavnet (LP1020) and from Drumsheaver (LP-1011) will be diverted Southeast at the crossroads via the LP-1012, then straight onto the R-186–4, then right onto the LP-1610 and then right onto the LP-2010 to Scotstown Village.

 

North-East bound traffic approaching from Scotstown Village (LP-2010) will be diverted Southeast at the crossroads via the LP-2010, then left onto the LP-1610, then left onto the R-186-4, then straight onto the LP-1012 to the LP-20000

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
