Clones Urban Mobility Plan - Road and Transport

Monaghan County Council has completed the Clones Urban Mobility Plan, establishing a strategic, long‑term framework to improve sustainable mobility and accessibility across the town. The Plan is guided by the 10‑Minute Town concept and prioritises enhanced walking, cycling and public transport networks linking residential areas with schools, services, employment, and recreational destinations. It sets out phased, deliverable measures to improve street design, permeability, road safety and universal accessibility, with particular emphasis on protecting vulnerable road users. The Plan supports compact growth, town centre vitality, and national and local climate and transport policy objectives.
