Monaghan County Council has secured over €3 million in National Transport Authority funding for 2026 to deliver Active Travel and sustainable transport projects across the county. The programme will support safer walking and cycling routes, improved junctions, enhanced public transport infrastructure and the continued delivery of key projects in towns and local communities, helping to make everyday journeys safer, healthier and more sustainable.
