Monaghan County Council will close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Dates and Times: Between Thursday 20th July 2026 and Friday 21st August 2026.
The Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period.
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Roads Closed: LP1220 from its junction with the N2 to the crossroads junction at Straghan (back road to St Macartan’s College) for a distance of 2442m.
Diversion Route:
Local traffic will be diverted via adjoining local roads. All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
