Temporary Closing of Roads – Monday, 9th November 2026 at 08:00hrs to Friday, 4th December 2026 at 17:00hrs.

Monaghan County Council will close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Dates and Times: – Monday, 9th November 2026 at 08:00hrs to Friday, 4th December 2026 at       17:00hrs.

The road may be closed between the hours of 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs within the Closure Period.

Purpose of Closure:
To facilitate the installation of a new water main.

Road Closed:  LS-8810 closed from its junction with the LP-4921(Old Ardee Rd) to the junction with the LS-8800 (Townland of Halftate)

Diversion Route

Local diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.

All diversion routes will be signposted. Local access and emergency vehicles will be accommodated at all times.
