Stage 1 – Pre Draft Stage 2 – Draft Stage 3 – Amendments

At a meeting of the Council on the 4th of March 2019, the Elected Members, by resolution, made the Monaghan County Development Plan 2019-2025, in accordance with the draft Monaghan County Development Plan 2019-2025 with;
a. the proposed amendments set out in Volumes 1 and 2 of the Material Alterations to the draft Monaghan County Development Plan,
b. as amended by the recommendations set out in the Chief Executive’s Report on the Material Alterations to the draft Monaghan County Development Plan, and
c. as amended by motions passed at the Council Meeting on 4th March 2019.

The adopted plan will come into effect on the 1st of April 2019 .

The Chief Executive’s Report on submissions made in respect of the Material Alterations, including Motions/Proposals agreed at the 4th March Council Meeting, are available to view below;

The adopted Monaghan County Development Plan 2019-2025 will be available online from the 1st of April 2019 and hard copies will be made available on request.
A copy of the plan will also be available to view in all Municipal District Offices and Branch Libraries in the County during public opening hours from the 1st April 2019.
