Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal Districts of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney,
Ballybay- Clones and Monaghan in County Monaghan.

Dates of Closure: Monday 14th November 2022 until Saturday 19th November 2022 And Monday 21st November until
Thursday 24th November 2022

Road Closed: N2 Castleblayney Bypass – from the townland of Kilcrow (N2 Clontibret
Roundabout) to the townland of Tullyvin (N2 Tullyvin Roundabout).

Times: 7.30pm – 6am

To Facilitate: Topographical Surveying & Pavement Investigations.

Diversion Routes:
South East Diversion: From the N2 Clontibret Roundabout, take the R184, then travel south east along the Old N2 (LP3444),
through Annayalla Village and Castleblayney Town (R183,R181), then access the N2 via the N53. North West Diversion: From the N2 Tullyvin Roundabout, take the N53 into Castleblayney Town. Travel north west through Castleblayney taking the R181 & R183, then continue north west
along the Old N2 (LP3444). Then access the N2 via the R184 at the N2 Clontibret Roundabout

Diversions will be in place for the duration of the closure. Every
effort will be made to minimise delays.

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:

Date: Monday 7th November 2022 to Sunday 4th December 2022

To Facilitate: Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed: LT-23312 in the Townland of Boyher

Alternative Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-23312 from Rockcorry Village will be diverted onto the R188, right onto the LT63202,
then right onto the LT-63201 Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-23312 from the T Junction at Tanmacnally will be diverted onto the LT-63202, then turn left onto the R188.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-48011 from the LS-8820 will be diverted onto the LS-8831, then left onto the LT-88313, then
left onto the LP-4813, then left onto the LP-4802 (Priests Cross) Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-48011 from the LP-4802 will be diverted right onto the LP-4813(Priests Cross), then right onto the LT-88313, then turn right onto the LS-8831 and then right onto the LS-8820.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

then left onto the LP-4904. Traffic wishing to proceed on the LS-8903 from the LP-4903 will be diverted onto the LP-4904, then right onto the LS-8911, then turn right onto the LT-89112 and then right onto the LS-8820.

To Facilitate: Turning on of the Christmas Lights in Castleblayney

Roads Closed: R181-3 Castleblayney Main Street from Market Square up to the Traffic Lights, Muckno Street from the junction at McGrath
Road to Market Square, LT-75065 Henry Street and the LT-75065 at Market Square

Alternative Routes.
Traffic wishing to proceed onto the R181-3 (Keady Road) from the R938 (York Street) will be diverted left onto the R181-3 Main
Street, then right onto the R183-15 (Monaghan Road) and then right onto the LT-75064 (McGrath Road).

Traffic wishing to proceed onto the R181-3 (Castleblayney Main Street) from the R181-3 (Keady Road) will be diverted right onto
the LT-75064 (McGrath Road), left onto the R183-15 (Monaghan Road)

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Under Section 93 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 as amended and the Road Traffic Signs Regulations 1997, No. S.I. 182 of 1997 article
17, Monaghan County Council hereby gives notice of applying a 3.5t Weight Restriction at the bridge identified as MN-L1510-
B-010 in the Townlands of Legnacreeve and Mullagarry on the L-1510 road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan.

Date of commencement of the proposed Weight Restriction: Thursday, 3rd of November 2022, until such time as further notification is provided and the RUS 053, 3.5t Regulatory signs are removed from the bridge location.

Bridge Location: L-1510-0 in the Townlands of Legnacreeve and Mullagarry Co. Monaghan

Date of Closure: Tuesday 15th November 2022 @ 8am to Wednesday 16th November 2022 @ 6pm

To Facilitate: Resurfacing Works on behalf of Irish Water

Road Closed: R-183 from its junction with the L6290 at Killeevan NS to its junction with the R189,
Main Street Newbliss

Diversion Routes:
From Clones via the R-183 O’Duffy Street, continue to junction with N54 and turn right onto N54 for Monaghan, continue straight
on N54 to junction with R189 Threemilehouse/ Newbliss and turn right onto R189, continue on R189 to Newbliss.

From Newbliss: Continue along R189 towards Threemilehouse/Monaghan to junction with N54, turn left at junction with N54 and continue to traffic lights in Clones, turn left at junction onto R183 O’Duffy Street. At the next junction turn left for Newbliss

All Detours will be signposted to direct the traffic. Local Access only.

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County
Monaghan:

Date of Closure: Sunday 20th November 2022
Times: 12:00 Noon to 8:00PM

To Facilitate: Turning on of the Christmas Lights in Monaghan Town

Road Closed: R-867 – Church Square, Monaghan (From Rossmore Monument to Church Square) LS5515 – Lower Mill Street

Diversion Routes:
Westbound traffic approaching from Glaslough Street (N54-10) will be diverted at the Diamond (R-867-1) left onto Dublin Street (N-54-10) then take the 3rd exit at the roundabout at Old Cross Square onto Macartan Road (N0-54-10) then right at the junction of Macartan Road and Dawson Street onto Dawson Street (N-54-8) Eastbound traffic approaching from Dawson Street (N54-8) will be diverted straight ahead onto Church Square then right onto Mill Street (LS-5515-0) then continue straight ahead onto The Diamond (R-867-1)

Taxi Rank outside of Courthouse to be temporarily relocated to the North Road alongside the DV8 premises

Entrance to the Courthouse carpark will be via Macartan Road (N-54-10) and Castle Road (LT-14121-0)
Existing exit from the courthouse carpark onto Church Square (R-867-1) will be maintained for the duration of the event
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above mentioned roads with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 8th November 2022. Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
