To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:   LT-23312 in the Townland of Boyher

 

 

Diversions Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-23312 from Rockcorry Village will be diverted onto the R188, Right onto the LT63202, then right onto the LT-63201

 

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-23312 from the T Junction at Tanmacnally will be diverted onto the LT-63202, then turn Left onto the R188

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Date:     Monday 15th August 2022 until Friday 19th August 2022

To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:   LT-81011 in the Townlands of Cullentraghbane, Beagh, Brackly, Monalia and Rathmore

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-81011 from the LS-8101 will be diverted onto the LS-8101, then straight onto the LS-8100, then Right onto the N2-2, then Right onto the LS-8152 and then Right onto the LT-81521.

 

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LT-81011 from the LT-81521/LS-8152 will be diverted Left/straight onto the LS-8152, then left onto the N2-2, then turn left onto the LS-8100 and then straight onto the LS-8101.

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 26th July 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.

From the junction between the R180 and the LT 41131 and Lough Egish crossroads

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R-180 in the direction of Lough Egish from Carrickmacross town, will be diverted via the N-2 to Castleblaney/N-2 junction, then turning left the R181 Lough Egish to Shercock Road and continuing along the R181 to the Lough Egish.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R-180 in the direction of Carrickmacross town from Lough Egish,

will be diverted on to the R-181 at the Lough Egish crossroads, continuing along the R-181 to

the Castleblaney/N-2 junction, then turning left on to the N2 and continuing along the N-2 to the Carrickmacross town.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access only, no through

road).

Temporary Closing Of Roads – LP-1413 (Plantation Road)

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

 Date of Closure:               Saturday 9th July 2022

 Times:                                9am – 6pm

To Facilitate:                     Monaghan Garda Station Open Day

 Road Closed:                     LP-1413 (Plantation Road)

This road will be closed to the west at the Junction with the North Road (N54-8) and to the East at the Junction with Glaslough Street (N54-10)

 

Diversion Routes:

Westbound traffic will be diverted Via Glaslough Street (N54-10), turning right onto the Diamond (R867-1) then right onto North Road (N54-8)

Eastbound traffic will be diverted Via North Road (N54-8) then Right onto Glaslough Street (N54-10)

Buses/HGV’s travelling Southbound on N2 and Westbound on N12 intending to travel North on Plantation Road (LP-1413) towards Monaghan Bus Station to be diverted at Coolshannagh Roundabout towards Annahagh roundabout, then take 2nd exit towards Corlat Roundabout. At Corlat roundabout take 2nd exit onto Dublin Road (R937) then 1st exit at Old Cross Square onto Broad Road. Turn right at the junction of Broad Road and Dawson Street onto Dawson Street and continue straight onto North Road

Buses/HGV’s travelling Northbound on N2 towards Corlat Roundabout intending to travel North on Plantation Road (LP-1413) towards Monaghan Bus Station to be diverted at Corlat Roundabout onto Dublin Road (R937) then 1st exit at Old Cross Square onto Broad Road. Turn right at the junction of Broad Road and Dawson Street onto Dawson Street and Continue Straight onto North Road

Road Closed:     West Street, Castleblayney, R181-3.

 

Diversion Routes:

York Street to Muckno Street: Traffic will be diverted right off the R938-0, York Street, onto the LT75066, Thomas Street, left onto the LT75065, Henry Street and then right onto the R181-0, Muckno Street.

Muckno Street to York Street: Traffic will be diverted left off the R181-3, Muckno Street onto the LT 75065, Henry/Church Street, then left onto the R938-0, York Street.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4921 from Carrickmacross will be diverted onto the R927, then straight onto the N2 heading South

 

Traffic wishing to proceed on the LP-4922 from the N2 will continue along the N2 and will be diverted onto the R-927

LS5515 – Lower Mill Street

Diversion Routes:
Diversions from Emyvale to Ballybay, Clones, Cootehill will be via the N2 bypass to the Dublin Road and R937 Macartan Road
Local access to the town centre and the Courthouse car park will be via Dublin Street, Macartan Road and Castle Road.
