SERVICES
Festivals and events are a celebration of creativity and diversity and have an immensely positive impact on the lives of the residents and visitors to County Monaghan. These events deliver a range of social, cultural and economic benefits. They also attract visitors, increase social inclusion and create a positive image of County Monaghan both locally and nationally.
Applications are welcome from community/voluntary groups and organisations within County Monaghan who organise festivals and events.
Examples of an event include the annual St. Patrick’s Day parades, agricultural shows and a public exhibition or showcase.
The scheme welcomes applications for funding under two strands for festivals taking place during 2022:
S1 Delivery of small-scale festivals and events in Monaghan. Funding of up to €1,000 per application is available under this strand.
S2 Delivery of medium and large-scale festivals and events in Monaghan. Funding of up to €5,000 per application is available under this strand.
