Monaghan County Library Services aim to provide access to all members of our Community. However, we realise that the hustle and bustle of the modern library is not a comfortable environment for everybody, in fact it can be a little overwhelming for people with autism or sensory issues.
All of our Branch Libraries are now offering the opportunity to avail of a quiet, private visit. We can ensure bright lights are switched off and background noise is kept to a minimum.
People with sensory issues & Families that include a Child who has Autism are welcome to book a private visit before the Library opens to the Public. Visits must be booked in advance and times will be subject to individual Branch Library opening hours.
