Monaghan County Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from community groups, businesses and local stakeholders to submit project ideas that will improve towns and villages across County Monaghan.

Do you have a project that could make a positive difference in your town or village?

This funding programme supports projects that enhance rural communities, boost economic activity, improve local infrastructure, enhance public spaces and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Project ideas may include:

  • Public realm and streetscape improvements
  • Town and village regeneration projects
  • Community centre upgrades
  • Parks, plazas and recreational facilities
  • Re-use of vacant or derelict buildings
  • Market spaces and community hubs
  • Accessibility and inclusion initiatives
  • Climate action and biodiversity projects

(this is not an exhaustive list)

Now is the time to bring forward project ideas that can make a positive impact in your town or village.

Who Should Apply
