Outdoor events are great fun for the public and can attract thousands of people of all ages.

If you are an event organizer you have a lot to think about and do, before, during and after your event. All events have an impact on the environment in terms of the amount of water and energy consumed as well as litter and waste generated. Additionally how people get to and from the event will have an impact locally. As a festival organiser, if you can plan ahead with the environment in mind, you can significantly lessen the impact of your event on your local environment as well as potentially saving money for both the organisers, local businesses and visitors.
